The slim and aerodynamic helmet units fit to the side of the helmet with 3M Dual Lock pads. This allows for easy fit or removal INSTANTLY. The mic boom tucks under the rim of the helmet, and the 2 generic earplugs deliver audio directly into the ear canal via very small acoustic tubes. Because the sound is natural and wind noise is not amplified, conversation is possible.

How Does It Work:

Two-way conversation is achieved by two small-bore tubes which have a central connector to allow for disconnection from each other. This allows you to get off the bike without having to remove your helmet. The tubes take the sound directly from the mouthpiece of one rider to the earplugs of the other rider, and visa-versa. Unlike other units in its price range that have helmet speakers or earbuds that don't stay in place and offer no wind reduction, this unit has earplugs for a 20 dB wind reduction.

Allows two-way conversation with minimal voice effort. Since it does not amplify, but only picks up the voice, there is no interfering wind noise that is picked up by the microphone. Other systems that are electronic amply the voice, as well as the wind noise. Systems with noise reducing microphones cost upwards of $300.
